Noel Hollett

I am 22, and up until the past three-four years or so have always considered myself a 'recreational runner' of sorts-with the Sun Run being my event of choice. I started running more seriously as I improved, and new challenges came along! I am currently finishing up my Degree in Jazz Studies at Capilano University, I'm then looking at becoming a Personal Trainer. After the Fat Dog, the goal is to move into Triathlons. I have North Shore Athletics and their running clinics to thank for both how far i've come as an athlete, and where i plan to go on that route. I have always been drawn to the next big challenge, and the more daunting it is or the more people tell me that i can't do it i'm just pushed to accomplish it even more! In this case there is that aspect, but to be able to do it for a cause and fundraise just makes me that much more driven to do this! there will be ups and downs on the journey to the FatDog, but it will be one unforgettable experience!

I am a 20 year old Wrestler turned Triathlete, studying Sports Science/ Human Kinetics at Douglas College In New Westminister. I have Been with the North Shore Athletics Triathlon clinics for 3 seasons now and have loved Every minute of it. I have been running competivley since i was 13 with my school and in my community. I am attacking this distnace not just to prove to myself i can do it . But to raise money and inspire others to reach goals, whether sport related or not. A little sweat, most likley alot of tear and determination anything you set your mind to is possible!
